BARBARA VIGNUDELLI

Born in Bologna (Italy), she is now living in Paris, where she works.
Graduated at “F.Venezze” Conservatory in Rovigo (Italy) as Singer, at “L.Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence (Italy) in Vocal and Chamber Music with honors, she also owns a Master’s degree in Vocal and Chamber Music with honors at “G. Verdi” Conservatory, in Milan (directed by the soprano Stelia Doz) and a second level Master's degree on XXth Century Italian music.

She attended several courses and master-classes in chamber music (A. Ballista, D. Dorrow, L.Poli, G.Kuhn, S. Doz, G. Salvetti, G.Neuhold, D.Baldwin, A. Ballista, S. Walker, M. Martineau, R. Vignoles, L. Castellani). 

As soloist soprano she collaborated with different Theaters and Musical Associations in Italy and abroad: Théatre National de Marseille, Venice Biennial, Italian National Broadcaster (RAI) Milan, Italian National Broadcaster (RAI) Symphonic Season Turin(E.Grieg Peer Gynt, K. MONICA PAOLINI

After receiving her final diploma in classical guitar under the guidance of Armando MARROSU, a pupil of Emilio Pujol, she followed a four-year specialization course with the Spanish Alberto PONCE, at the Ecole Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot, in Paris (France), receiving the "Diplome Supérieur d'Exécution" and the prestigious "Diplome Supérieur de Concertisme".

 

In Paris she also followed a course taught by Javier HINOJOSA, enriching her knowledge of renaissance and baroque music on classical guitar, later deepened with Rolf LISLEVAND at the Trossingen Musik Hochschule (Germany) on original ancient instruments.

 

In 1990 she was awarded the first prize in the international competition "Ville de Carpentras" (France) and in "Certamen International Francisco Tarrega" in Benicàsim (Spain), in 1992 she was runner-up in the international competition "Città di Alessandria" (Italy), three of the most important European guitar contests.

 

She has given concerts in several countries (inside and outside Europe) both as a soloist and in chamber music, receiving considerable critical acclaim. She has recorded CDs as a soloist and as a member of the Opera Nova Guitar Quartet, collaborated with different groups playing ancient music and with the soprano Barbara Vignudelli (ExtraTemporaDuo).

 

She teaches classical guitar at the Conservatory "Francesco Venezze" in Rovigo (Italy).
