LIRICHE PER VOCE E CHITARRA

The idea that motivated the project was born during last spring's lockdown: at a time when music was running out of voice, the duo wanted to produce something new, with a dual intent. First, they wanted to give visibility to some of the many composers of classical music from Bologna-or at any rate active in Bologna in the last 30 years. At the same time, they wanted to bring the general public closer to contemporary music, using an original and agile formation such as the voice and guitar duo.

The result is this CD produced by Tactus, which brings together pieces by 11 composers, who have very different styles, but all topical and original, many in their first performance.

The project was partly funded by the City of Bologna and has the label "Bologna - Unesco City of Music."
